Hi, I'm Harry Versluys.  My musical career is very similar to that of other Indo musicians. As a boy, coming from Indonesia to the Netherlands I started making music with my friends. It's in our blood and that tickles me. I gained much experience over the years and had arose many bands  as a substitute. But in that period I became acquainted with musicians of the band "Intruders" . I played guitar and the boys wanted a drummer. With support from the other band members, I started playing drums .... just to serve the band. Practice makes perfect is a saying and I had a difficult time but my drum skills grew as the days and to full satisfaction of the boys. It was not just a band. ... A team with one goal: making music with lots of fun. And with success ... ... more than 30 years I played with them until 2003. We were one of the most famous Indo-bands in the years '70-'80 and '90. After that we decided jointly to exit the era "Intruders" .

After 2003 we started another band with other musicians in response to a jam session. "The Occasions Band" was born. We really enjoyed this period and entertained the people with our music. In 2007, through circumstances "The Occasions Band" broke up.

Many musical friends I met in my career. With some of these friends, we've picked up the thread and we started a new band: "Tea for Texas". We have recently started to make music together. Wait calmly until we play our first real gig. ... If that is ... .. keep an eye on the website.
