Hello, My name is Alex Dutrieux. Bass guitarist and vocalist, and already over 25 years. Making music is a passion besides my family. I've been fortunate to get the gift to do the lead and backing vocals while combining playing my bass. I feel really "senang".

The motivation and enjoyment in the form of music, I owe to an important person in my life, namely: "My father".  It was him who teach me my first guitar chords as a boy of five and  from that time there was very much music in the Dutrieux house, when there were parties. There was no party without music. It had also been there, I became familiar with the sounds of Kroncong, country and later, soul music. These experiences I could use well, when I began to play  with friends in hobby bands at my 12th year.

From my 15th year I became more serious in making music choices. From that moment I had my first all round formation 'Connection'. Many years I've done that with pleasure until 1995. I saw a challenge as  singer / acoustic guitarist in the "Alex-Rose Band". This band was my basics for the band Trespass. Trespass, for me, amazingly well, was surprising and innovative. The Trespass bar was placed high  ... .. in itself not worse because you go for it  .... but then you discover that it is not as it should be. This was one reason for me to take a break after 12 years of making music and just helping other bands as a substitute. But blood is thicker than water can be  and I got into conversation with the other musicians of Tea for Texas. Just fun and just play with this band is my starting point and fortunately, this is supported by the rest. You guessed it ... ... it speaks to me and gave me back the joy of making our music, as taught to me by my Dad. I hope that you as an audience of Tea for Texas, will enjoy many years of experience in listening to and / or dance to the music of Tea for Texas.
