Tea for Texas was founded in 2009 with the aim, more than playing Country Music in the broadest sense. The idea originated with former musicians from Intruders, Occasion Band, Montana Blaze, Trespass, MRP, but now part of the new formation.

There is no mention about putting the bar high and ... .... neither an ephemera ... .... and not just too! It is “Tea for Texas”! That also includes a motto: “Fun is what makes us play”. Very ambitious, though. We have, how crazy it sounds too , put together the musicians who bears this motto. Musicians from Enschede, Haaksbergen, Deventer, Amersfoort and Hoofddorp who earned their tracks in the music scene. Meanwhile, good friends ... ... ... .. Nothing should , everything is possible and together they form the sparkling heart of Tea for Texas.

Tea for Texas plays covers that will be edited and if necessary re-arranged and written to the occupation and skills of the individual members of the band. But own work gets a place too. The ambitious goal must also provide a special appearance on stage. That’s important to us and for the public a a feast for the eye. We want to steal the hearts of a large audience and be employable anywhere for “Indische” evenings, Kumpulan, Country Clubs, Major Festivals in the Netherlands and Belgium, Parkfeesten, Pasar Malam, fairs and other events. In short ... ... .. memorable afternoons / evenings for everyone!

The individual musical backgrounds fit into the line of Tea for Texas for allowing a broader staining in its musicality. That is good for the band. Tea for Texas is more than country in the broadest sense.

The individual musicians have a satisfactory record with respect to the performances at home and abroad. Belgium, Germany, Austria, Spain, Turkey, America are a few countries we have to mention and artists like John Hughey (USA), Lynn Anderson (USA), Danni Leigh (USA), Carlene Carter (USA), Dale Watson And His Lone Stars (USA), Sarah Jory Sarah Jory Band and the (UK), the famous rock band Normal (NL), Riem de Wolff (NL), Andy Tielman (NL) and Tantowi Yahya (Indonesia, the Mega Star of Country Eastern hemisphere) are musicians we have shared the stage with.
